De app vraagt geen toegang tot de locatie van je toestel (GPS) en toont je positie niet op de plattegrond. De enige locatie-indicatie is het globale land dat verwerkers uit je IP-adres afleiden, zoals hierboven vermeld.
Met wie we gegevens delen
Wij verkopen geen gegevens. We gebruiken de volgende verwerkers:
- Google Firebase (Google Ireland/LLC) — anonieme stemopslag en, na toestemming, statistieken (Google Analytics for Firebase).
- OneSignal (OneSignal, Inc., VS) — bezorging van pushmeldingen.
- Sanity (Sanity.io) — levert de evenementinhoud (alleen lezen).
Sommige verwerkers zijn buiten de EER (VS) gevestigd; doorgifte gebeurt op basis van de standaardcontractbepalingen van de Europese Commissie.
Bewaartermijn
Stemmen worden tot uiterlijk drie maanden na het evenement bewaard en daarna verwijderd. Statistiekgegevens worden geanonimiseerd bewaard volgens de standaardinstellingen van Google Analytics. Lokale cache (inhoud) blijft op je toestel tot je de app verwijdert.
Jouw rechten
- Toestemming voor statistieken intrekken: zet Anonieme statistieken uit onder Meer.
- Pushmeldingen stoppen: via de systeeminstellingen van je toestel.
- Je anonieme stem-identiteit wissen: verwijder en herinstalleer de app.
- Inzage, verwijdering of bezwaar: mail info@wheelsevents.nl.
- Klacht indienen bij de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
Kinderen
De app is niet gericht op kinderen jonger dan 16 en verzamelt niet bewust hun gegevens.

What we process and why

The app does not request access to your device location (GPS) and does not show your position on the map. The only location signal is the approximate country our processors derive from your IP address, as noted above.
Who we share data with
We do not sell data. We use these processors:
- Google Firebase — anonymous vote storage and, after consent, analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase).
- OneSignal (USA) — delivery of push notifications.
- Sanity — serves the event content (read-only).
Some processors are outside the EEA (USA); transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Retention
Votes are kept until at most three months after the event, then deleted. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' default settings. Local content cache stays on your device until you uninstall the app.
Your rights
- Withdraw analytics consent: turn off Anonymous statistics under More.
- Stop push notifications: via your device's system settings.
- Clear your anonymous voting identity: delete and reinstall the app.
- Access, deletion or objection: email info@wheelsevents.nl.
- Lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 16 and does not knowingly collect their data.
